Our Team has been here in the City for years (our newest staff member just celebrated her five year anniversary with us). We are located in Oklahoma City and are focused on helping people who want to sell their homes and move forward. Whether sellers are relocating for work, tired of being a landlord, downsizing, or have inherited a property, our team is here to help. Each of our team members is intimately familiar with our process and ready to answer your questions. Regardless of your specific situation we will help you find a selling solution and guide you through the process.
THE OWNERS
Trevor Shettron
Growing up in a small farming community in Southeast Colorado, Trevor has learned the importance of hard work and always being willing to help out your neighbors. He graduated from The Colorado College with a degree in Economics with an Urban Studies emphasis and studied the complexities and challenges of the inner city while living in Chicago.
Trevor’s Oklahoma real estate career started in 1999 and he joined the 1-800-2SellHomes team in 2003, becoming a co-owner in 2016. With every real estate purchase, Trevor invests his time and energy into making sure the process runs smoothly. Having over 20 years of real estate experience Trevor understands that no two transactions will ever be the same. He walks every homeowner through the process with confidence and creativity. He is always willing to go the extra mile even when most would give up.
Trevor is passionate about helping others and spending time with his family. If he isn’t working with someone on a home selling solution, he can usually be found at a sporting field or gym watching one of his kid’s events. Trevor and his wife have been married for more than 20 years and have three sons. They are an active family in the community and involved in serving at their church.
Carter Steph
Carter has grown up in the Oklahoma City area and has been married to his wife, Cindy, for 11 years, and between them have 5 children who have all graduated from Edmond or Deer Creek public schools. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and received his JD degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law. Carter has been a real estate investor since 1992 and is also a licensed real estate broker.
Carter is a practicing attorney for over 20 years and has been the General Counsel at 1-800-2SellHomes since 2014 and co-owner since 2016. His expertise is helping people find a solution to their unique real estate situations and he is passionate about helping people.
Carter enjoys spending time with his wife Cindy and their children and loves to travel. His passion is sailing and boating and his best day is spent on the water with his family.
Carter is active in his neighborhood association as Vice President and he and Cindy attend Life Church.
COMPANY HISTORY
For years 1-800-2SellHomes has been the top real estate buyer in the Oklahoma City area. You have probably heard of us, and seen our TV ads for years, but you may not know the history of the company. Our company started on a small scale and using only word-of-mouth advertising. The company was founded with the goal of helping homeowners. In 2003 we aired our first TV commercial. Over the years 1-800-2SellHomes’ TV spots have been a staple on Oklahoma City daytime TV, becoming one of the most recognized local brands. Since those early beginnings, we have continued to grow, we now have an affiliate office in Tulsa, and buy houses in every market in Oklahoma as well as neighboring states. We are also looking to expand further but remain focused on keeping our local foot print in Oklahoma City.
