And the final tip may be the best one of all to get a fast sale. Although it may not bring the highest dollar for your house, it is a sure-fire method, and one I use to sell my house quickly. Local real estate investors stick signs in the yard of their houses for rent. When you’re driving you’ll see House For Rent signs and you may see the same phone number on several signs. That is because an investor is likely to own several houses in the same area as a practical matter, saving him time for maintenance.
Call the numbers you collect and speak to the owner, not an employee. Mention that you have a house for sale in the neighborhood and be sure to say it’s not listed, if that is the case. Everybody loves to have information that other people do not have, right?. Don’t leave your address or the asking price in a voice message, save that information for a phone conversation.
